Nixon Richard O'Neil
Nick "Finn" O'Neil, 58, of Brownsville (Centerville Borough), passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his home.
He was born March 15, 1958, in Charleroi, a son of Nixon P. O'Neil of Fowler, Ohio, and Norma Jean Kuhar of Blainsburg, who survive.
Mr. O'Neil was a 1976 graduate of California High School.
He was a manager of Johns Auto Parts in California for 25 years and, at the time of his death, had been working at Community Action Southwest Headstart program for the past fifteen years.
He enjoyed hunting, auto repairs and carpentry.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife of 27 years, Mona Rose O'Neil; two daughters, Ashley O'Neil of Millsboro and Tina Rockwell (Brian) of Bethlehem, Ga.; two grandsons, Bailey and Nathan Rockwell; two brothers, Donald O'Neil of Inwood, W.Va., and Kevin O'Neil (Penny) of Denbeau Heights; a stepson, Troy Riggle (Denise) of Richeyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, with the Rev. Paul Grunebach officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Jen Fund, P.O. Box 64, Clarksville, PA 15322.
